a seeking soul, filled with the blessing of grace, finding peace with God, seeking redemption, seeking spiritual wealth
In times of drought sustain me
Times of little faith take my hand
When It seems I cannot go on
Give me shelter where I can stand
When my eyes become so dreary
Feeling at times my heart will break
When my world seems to fall apart
Please take me to your holy place
Lord, why have so many forgotten
Where their breath of life comes from
The One who has power in his hands
A true God whose days are never done
Mankind embraces many things in life
Worshiping worldly objects every day
Chasing after them with open arms
Never calling upon he alone who saves
Only believing in what they can see
Those created things which will fade
But soon many will unhappily find
An unexpected ending to their days
Never realizing who exists nearby
An open door who provides true life
If only they could remove the blinders
Which each day imprisons their eyes
If only they took a moment in their day
To ponder what his living word does say
Only then will their lives truly blossom
As their hearts move toward the only way
For there is freedom from all that is lifeless
Those created things they embrace and see
If humans truly reach for his sure salvation
From their sins they will now be set free.

John 3:16-18
For this is the way God loved the world: he
gave his one and only Son that everyone
who believes in him should not perish but
have eternal life. For God did not send his
Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world should be saved through
him. The one who believes in Him is not
condemned. The one who does not believe
has been condemned already, because he
has not believed in the name of the one and
only Son of God.
