The ground begins to tremble
The leaves fall off the trees
The wind becomes very furious
But not only because of me

For there is a storm a-raging
And when it comes very near
It’s because of a loves power
A true magic we now hold dear

When we find as we come together
Where we are will become so calm
For the wind is caused by two hearts
Just longing for the other’s arms

Love the likes of which we share
Cannot ever be separated long
For the love, we possess each day
Has a true power that’s never wrong

In showing its longing for the other
Yes for the chosen one of our hearts
While helping us to stay together
To quell loves storm when we are apart.
Written in May 1977, the month
Before we married.
