My longings I place before you
As also my many numerous needs
I find myself fervently praying
For Your blessings to come to me

Please answer the prayers I send you
For you alone can see my soul within
Only you know my hearts intentions
If they are pure or only full of sin

I languish in my own deep sadness
While my body aches with searing pain
Finding I thirst after your companionship
Like a desert flower for a drop of rain

So Lord, please come my way this day
Embracing every word from my lips that fall
Know my heart patiently waits for only you
To once again answer my hearts silent call.

Psalms 130:5-6
“I wait for the LORD, my
soul waits and in his word I
hope; my soul waits for the
Lord more than watchmen for
the morning, more than
watchmen for the morning.”
