I can live without the kiss of the sun
Or the soft glow of the moon and stars
But I cannot live without you close to me
For I have a need to know where you are

Without you, in my life, I’d be a failure
Not be able to do many tasks the right way
My heart would be unable to even complete
The vows each day and night it has made

My human pride overwhelms me many times
And I feel as though I can do all things
But just when I try, I seem to fall down
Seeing my hopes become shattered dreams

I know dear Lord, that I’m but a sinner
Feeling I am not one worthy to be saved
But I know I will not last much longer
Unless my life your amazing love saves.

Psalm 91:14-16
“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will
rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges
my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him
and honor him. With long life, I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

Psalm 145:18-20
“The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all
who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires
of those who fear him; he hears their cry and
saves them. The LORD watches over all who love
him, but all the wicked he will destroy.”
