My lips are nourished by Your tender love
That You do bring into my life each day
Where I once did hunger for worldly things
You took that tempting taste away

Where I once would glory in only myself
Now I do bow down on my knees to pray
Where I once sang praises to my own exploits
Now prostrate by Your feet I do lay

For never have I nourished on such a treasure
Which only Your eternal love does bring
And I find myself at such a lost for words
To best describe what I am no longer lacking

For You took a fallen human into Your hands
Making my shattered soul to be whole again
Feeding me from the delights of your table
After You did cleanse me from my many sins

My eyes are now set on a most welcomed prize
That I promise each day I will always embrace
I have placed my trust in your eternal salvation
And Your promised word that will never be erased.
John 10:28-30
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;
no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who
has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can
snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father
are one.

1 John 2:17
The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does
the will of God lives forever.

2 Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what
is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what
is unseen is eternal.
