My God is a consuming fire
Who meets my every need
He binds my spirit in his pocket
As he quietly watches over me

Never will I ever be all alone
Or far from His eyes which see
For wherever I am in my life
He is always close to me

He never forsakes me a moment
Of His daily bread to eat
He provides my needed supper
And the spiritual drink I need

Even when the enemy come nears
Trying to pull daily at my senses
His spirit allows my heart to see
Through all of sin’s evil pretenses

My Lord, my God, is pure life to me
Surrounding me with angelic fences
Holding me in his protected embrace
Each day keeping my heart contented.
Psalm 27:8
“My heart says of you, ‘Seek his face!’
Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

Psalm 42:1-2
“As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?”

Psalm 84:1-2

“How lovely is your dwelling place,
Lord Almighty!
My soul yearns, even faints,
for the courts of the Lord…”
