As I awaken in the morning
With His spirit alive within
I find myself so grateful
To begin my life journey again

Many take this life for granted
Thinking they are invincible
Yet our lives are but fading vapors
That over death alone cannot win

We are truly one nation under God
In this world from two, we did begin
And we all are truly spiritual beings
Inside a cell of flesh which daily sins

And as we age we need to realize
That our outside body will soon fade
We must learn to humble sinful self
So our spirits one day will be saved

And no one is better than any other
Yet we find some now who seek to achieve
A spiritual balance in their daily lives
So from sin, they might be set free

Remember each morning as you awaken
Ask forgiveness for the sins of yesterday
Praying to God above to help you overcome
All things the enemy sends your way.

Ephesians 1:7
In Him, we have redemption through His blood,
the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to
the riches of His grace
