“The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen
Or even touched they must be felt with the heart…Helen Keller.”

What one comes to know deep inside
No one else in our lives can take away
Even when one has no sight or feeling
A beautiful spirit shall always stay

There is a heaven which exists nearby
But many of us are too blind to see
Yet It’s beautiful rhythms come alive
Filling many hearts with its melodies

When many of us embrace worldly things
Making them our main diet every day
We can become disenchanted with life
As our spiritual treasure slips away

Without a single physical touch, I know
That his spirit will never leave my side
Because I know my life has a true purpose
To deliver messages from my gift inside

There are so many perfect treasures for us
That we don’t have to feel, touch or see
Yet many are available without cost to us
As our Lord will always give them for free

Our God each day reminds me of his love
Without ever simply saying a single word
Because my spirit is truly in tune with him
And through His love, His words are heard.

My sister, and friend Holly, at https://
provided this quote from Helen Keller to
inspire me to write a poem. Thank you,
Holly! God bless!
Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your
midst, a mighty one who will save; he will
rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet
you by his love; he will exult over you with
loud singing.

1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father
has given to us, that we should be called
children of God; and so we are. The reason
why the world does not know us is that it
did not know him.
