If it was not for God’s loving grace
Which falls down freely from above
What would become of me, dear Lord
How would I live without Your love

When I attempt on my own to make it
My path will sometimes take a turn
During many moments of each day I live
It still seems like I have not learned

Those things which I might attempt to do
Surely would not warrant me to be saved
For only Your blessing of love given freely
Brings to my life perfect grace which stays

Lord if it was not for Your loving grace
Which each day falls freely from up above
Such a worldly hell would I surely face
If not for Your awesome forgiving love.

John 15:4-5
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch
can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the
vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain
in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If
you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much
fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.

Psalm 16:2
I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; apart from
you I have no good thing.”
