Your word is the living water
Of my soul each morning I drink
From your well that it may be
Refreshed abundantly

I seek the place of many who
Served before me that I too
Might find heavenly peace in
The deep places in my mind

I hunger to digest your word,
Letting its living essence feed
And nourish my spirit so I may
Become more productive serving

You gave my life its beginnings
I can never turn away from the life
Which the reality of Your grace and
Love brings alive daily, for without
It I would become spiritually dead

You are my only God and no other
Shall know or have a place in my
Heart before you, for you, are my
Life’s greatest treasure

I live and breathe your breath of life
Because you have allowed your humble
Servant, this sweet blessing to dress
My life each day

May your name be praised daily by
Every living being who is lifted
And inspired by the vibrant power
Of your divine love.
Psalm 119: 9-16
How can a young person live a clean life?
By carefully reading the map of your Word.
I’m single-minded in pursuit of you; don’t
let me miss the road signs you’ve posted.
I’ve banked your promises in the vault of
my heart so I won’t sin myself bankrupt.
Be blessed, God; train me in your ways of
wise living. I’ll transfer to my lips all
the counsel that comes from your mouth;
I delight far more in what you tell me
about living than in gathering a pile of
riches. I ponder every morsel of wisdom
from you, I attentively watch how you’ve
done it. I relish everything you’ve told
me of life, I won’t forget a word of it.

Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation
of my heart be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock, and my redeemer.
